Deburring motor laminations
The 44 series is a bottom-working machine with a front and rear feed table. It is ideal for deburring silicon steel sheets from 0.3 mm to 2 mm thick. Sheet lengths must be a minimum of 350 mm and a maximum of 1300 mm. With a transport speed adjustable from 8 to 38 m/min, operations are flexible. This saves energy during processes or, on the contrary, increases output. All parts are cleaned of dust by an exit brush. The Series 44 machine can also be integrated into an automated production line. Multi-shift operation is no problem.
What are laminations?
There are many words to describe laminations. The most common are electrical steel laminations, silicon steel laminations and motor laminations. Electrical steel and silicon steel refer to the same material. These laminations are stacked in the stators and rotors of an electric motor. The thinner the laminations, the lower the losses and the better the performance. A heat-resistant coating is applied to both sides to insulate the laminations.
