History

Timesavers International B.V. belongs to the Timesavers group which is again one of the subsidiaries of CRL-industries, Chicago U.S.A., a private owned holding which has an activity of around 500 million Euro per year.

1939: Arie van der Linden starts a repair shop for woodworking machinery in Rotterdam under the name Limaro (Linden Machines Rotterdam).

1946: Production of new woodworking machines.

1953: Specializing in sanding machines (stroke sander, drum sander).

1963: Wide belt contact (contact roller) sanding "SANDINGMASTER" specializing in wide belt sanders.

1970: Wide belt grinding machines for metal "GRINDINGMASTER".

1993: Start of Timesavers International BV in the Netherlands, as a part of the Timesavers Group. As of that moment Timesavers International B.V. takes care of all the activities of the Timesavers group in the World with the exeption of the northern America continent, which is covered by the U.S. part of the organization.

1996: Timesavers International BV becomes "The" World Market Leader in wide belt Sanding - and Grindingmachines for wood and metal applications.

2003: Timesavers improves their worldwid marketleader postion in Metal Deburring, and Finishing Wide belt machines, with new high precision Calibrating machines and Wet Coil Finishing lines.

2009: Timesavers and SANDINGMASTER-GRINDINGMASTER have built and supplied throughout the years of their existence about 50,000 machines, with customers in nearly every contry in the world.
